What could be better than a casual, all-genres writing workshop with delicious beer from Scranton’s only nanobrewery?

Introducing “Rough Draft”–a prompt-based writers’ meet-up intended to generate new work and get to know other local writers.

This free meet-up for writers and would-be writers is led by David Hicks, PhD, novelist and Director of Creative Writing at Wilkes University (www.david-hicks.com), who is a big fan of Groove.

On the first Thursday of every month (beginning April 6, 2023), come together to drink great beer, enjoy local pizza, meet other writers, and receive a writing prompt from David, followed by some writing time (and the opportunity to share your work if you want)–all in a casual, fun environment.
