David Hicks is Interviewed–Twice!–on KGNU in Boulder

David was interviewed by KGNU news director Maeve Conran and (Boulder Bookstore book buyer) Arsen Kashkashian on KGNU’s “Radio Bookclub,” and afterwards was joined by Conundrum/Bower House Press publisher Caleb Seeling for KGNU’s podcast, “After Hours at the Bookclub.” (Each recording is about a half-hour long.)

In these conversations, David and his friends discuss the writing of WHITE PLAINS, the literary references in the novel, what it’s like to have a passive main character who makes all the wrong moves, writing about a childhood loss, writing about 9/11, why it’s important for us to fail, what it was like to have his children write two of the chapters, and publishing with a small press, among other topics. Enjoy!
