Developmental Editing
What the service provides:
- Free half-hour initial consultation
- Thorough reading of complete manuscript
- 3-8 page written critique of manuscript draft listing strengths and revision suggestions + follow-up review (in-person or Zoom) See per-word rates below.
Coaching
What the service provides:
- Free half-hour initial consultation
- Twice-monthly meetings (one hour-long video coaching session + one 30-minute check-in phone call) every two weeks, with prompts, developmental suggestions, deadlines, and general writing feedback (4-month min. commitment): $350 per month or pay in advance $1200 for four months.
- Group Coaching (2-6 writers): $300 each per month or $1000 each for 4 mo.

Coaching/Editing Package
What the service provides:
- Free half-hour initial consultation
- Monthly coaching (4 months minimum)
- Developmental Editing once the manuscript draft is completed
- Follow-up review of critique
- Monthly check-ins during revision process
- Optional second development edit or copyedit
- 10% discounted rate
- Contracted commitment from coaching to full draft to developmental edit of ms
Coaching/Editing Rates:
Monthly Coaching (2 meetings per month): $450 per month/$405 when combined with developmental edit.*
Developmental Edit: $.05 per word** (1-hr. follow-up Zoom mtg. incl.)/ $.04 per word when combined with coaching.
Coaching/Editing Combo: $405 per month; $.04 per word
One-Time Reading Fee: $.02 per word (1/2 hr. consultation, no written critique,)
