Following a Q&A from the audience\, David will ask participants to try it themselves—to begin to make sense of their own loss or difficulty through fiction-writing\, allowing them to see themselves as a character with whom they can empathize. Using a tried-and-true formula (“Once upon a time… Then\, one day…”)\, participants will learn how to identify\, begin\, and structure their own autobiographical story\, and thus make sense of what they’ve been through. Fulcrum Publishing will sell signed copies of the book after the event.
