DESCRIPTION:What could be better than a casual\, all-genres writing workshop with delicious beer from Scranton’s only nanobrewery? \nIntroducing “Rough Draft”–a prompt-based writers’ meet-up intended to generate new work and get to know other local writers. \nThis free meet-up for writers and would-be writers is led by David Hicks\, PhD\, novelist and Director of Creative Writing at Wilkes University (www.david-hicks.com)\, who is a big fan of Groove. \nOn the first Thursday of every month (beginning April 6\, 2023)\, come together to drink great beer\, enjoy local pizza\, meet other writers\, and receive a writing prompt from David\, followed by some writing time (and the opportunity to share your work if you want)–all in a casual\, fun environment.
